Pro: Nice, clean, simple addon. Easy configuration. Able to easily assign users. Import users as csv or xml. Export User List as xml. HTML/Simple Text email.

Cons: Have to configure the mail settings in the Global Configuration. Only able to create one list. Not able to attach published articles.

Overall: 

Nice and easy. Adding a member is great! Have a user list as a xml or csv file? Just upload it and modify what columns have the names and emails. You can have it start reading at any line just tell it what line. To add a user who is registered on your site Just hit the Assign Users button and it displays all registered users. Select one or multiple users and hit Save, and the selected users are added to the members list. You can also add members who are not registered. Just hit New Subscriber and enter the name and email. The frontend user can see an archive of the past mailings. Right at the top it gives the option to Subscribe or Unsubscribe to the list. In sending a new message (which you can do from the backend or frontend) you can Send to Selected groups. Sadly you can not select multiple groups. You can disable the script generating a timeout error.You can also send the email only to the confirmed accounts. The only bad part of this component is you are unable to create multiple lists. You also can not attatch published articles to the letter.

Better Than: YaNC. Much simpler then YaNC.

Worse Than: Mamml only since you can add published articles in Mamml.

Last Word: If you only need one mailing list and want to email to seperate groups this is the newsletter component for you.
